Concorde was a British/French turbojet powered supersonic passenger airliner which operated from 1976 until 2003. It had a maximum speed of over twice the speed of sound at mach. 2.04, and was able to carry up to 128 passengers. Among other destinations, Concorde flew regular transatlantic flights from London's Heathrow Airport and Paris's Charles de Gaulle Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia, and Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados; it flew these routes in less than half the time of other airliners. This is Take Off and Landing Configuration model of Concorde in British Airways "Negus" tail livery adopted by BA from 1974 -1981, named after Negus and Negus the design agency that designed it to combine both elements of both BEA and BOAC’s identity.  The aircraft G-BBDG  MSN202 now resides at Brooklands Museum, Weybridge United Kingdom. The base inscription reads.
